It was lead to believe that Almonds were introduced to California in the mid- 1700’s by the Franciscan Padres and now has taken over the Central Valley.
The Valley’s mild climate and fertile soil we are now responsible for supplying nearly 88% of the world’s almond market. Roughly 68% of our total harvest is exported to all parts of the world.
Almonds, Walnuts and Pistachios are exceptionally versatile, value-adding ingredients. Available in many forms Almonds themselves are the most versatile and mature nut in the Tree Nut Industry.
